I hope someone can help with a few of my questions.
1. What will it take to install Boxster brakes all around on my 1986 944? I've searched the forum and haven't found much information on this upgrade.
2. How much should I expect to spend for the calipers and rotors, and then for the necessary adapters?
3. Will my 944 parking brake shoes, etc work inside the boxster rotors?
4. Could I stick with the stock rotors under the Boxster calipers (front or back)?
Straight answers or links would be very helpful
thanks
Scott

There are a few common brake upgrades for your car, but boxster brakes is not one of them.
1. 951 brakes
2. 951 'S' brakes
3. 928 GTS brakes (aka "Big Reds")
All of these options require that you upgrade you spindles to the 951 units. Then you just call up the guys at Paragon Products, or a similar tuner, and ask for the kit, or parts to acomplish the brake swap you are looking for.
I don't know what you need to do to mount the 951 spindles on an '86, you may need to replace most of your front suspension.
