MetroPCA 7/14/2002 Autocross (NYC Area)
why is it me always starting these? 
anyway.. who is going to this-a-one? I think I am definitely going to this one, with my Acura RSX toting friend.. as long as they don't mind some non-PCA members... gotta get there early I guess....

i would like to go not sure about racing but it would be nice to meet some people and admire some cars, i missed the last one and i have still never come to a pca event....

come Dan . It's not really RACING ...
it's driving quickly around a bunch of cones and being timed, you aren't racing against other people on a track.. you take turns at the course rather. it is quite fun

I'll be there. My friend is bringing his dad's C5 vette too
I hope I can pass inspection later this month...my tires don't look to be enjoying all these autox events very much..

he's going to auto-x the vette? wow.. that should be fun! will he let us all race it up and down the strip afterwards? 
the only thing i'm worried about is the 15 non-pca member limit.. what is up with that.. i thought it was 15 per X group so 45 non-pca members.. gosh darnit, time to wake up at 5am <img src="graemlins/sleep.gif" border="0" alt="[sleep]" />

dan.. like i said.. come on down. youll meet a lot of cool people (like me and adrial) and other pca people
lotsa cool ferraris, vipers, supras, and other junk come down usually too.. but dont compete.
but you can compete! all you need is 30 bucks

you'll be okay dan! bring a friend! thats what i did my first time.. everyone is very friendly.. if you want to dissapear into the crowd you can.. its a very relaxed environment.. but if there are rennlisters there.. and we notice you.. we might just say hi

i was out by nassau coliseum tonight and i saw many many porsche cars on the streets (i am around the area a couple times a week and i have never seen a bunch of porsche there before) hopefully those cars were there because this weekend was the autox.... i also saw a red 911 and a white 911 in bellmore at the car show in the train station, very nice night, now im excited to go on sunday, but i dont know if ill wake up
