Post Pics of S2 and 951 Cabrios - Fun in the Sun

A friend took these pics at an open car get together a few days back and I thought I'd share since it's always fun seeing pics. I seldom get to see both cars together myself, since I keep them in different places.

Two questions. What's a US Spec S2 doing there and where's the 3rd brake light on the 951 cab? Is that not required for Euro Spec cars?

Thanks and great looking cars!

Very nice. Some of those pics look like they could have come from a factory brochure.

Regarding the first question, I bought the S2 cab in the States in 1999 and was hard pressed to part with it when I moved back to Europe last year, so I shipped it over and "gave it" to my parents for Xmas <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> .

As for the 3rd brake light, that's a good question. Most 944 cabs I've seen here in Europe don't have it, but interestingly enough, the Euro specs red 951 cab that belongs to fellow 'lister Duke in Sweden does have the 3rd brake light.
