Jeff, nice car and welcome. You should try to make it to one of the PCA Potomac autocrosses...we hold them in Bowie. Hope to see you around.

I can't say that I've heard of the shop but I am familiar with the Annapolis area, I pretty much grew up in Edgewater. IDK how long you have been in that area but if you remember a garden center called Mike's Garden and Produce that was my dad. It was on central Avenue where the new grocery store is.
I am trying to think of the area and that garden center, but I can't remember it at the moment lol.

Thanks. I have to admit that I have never autocrossed, but I wouldn't mind watching and maybe trying it.

Call Porsche and have them run the VIN. All Porsches are in the company's database. The records should contain all the details of where the car was originally purchased and what was ordered on it.

Welcome!
That looks just like my 85.5 with 50,000 miles minus the pin stripe.

Welcome, love the color and thanks for sharing.

Apart from the regular service items, oils, plugs, pads, etc, I would get the belts, water pump and fuel lines changed asap if you don't have definite proof that they were already done.

Oooohhh, shiney! :P That is one clean 944

What color interior? Some pics look kind of tannish.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have all of the records and they show the belts have been done twice, but they do need to be changed again soon. So that will be happening hopefully next month. There is a Porsche shop not too far from where I live that said they would let me watch them change the belts. So I will probably let them do the belts the first time and learn how to properly do them. The color of the interior is tan. I will post pictures of it soon along with engine pictures too. Sorry for the quality of the pictures too. They didn't come out that great but they are all I have at the moment. Also Chad, I looked at the original bill of sale from the dealership and it has the pinstripe listed under dealer options, so I guess the dealer did the pinstripe install but I would like to still call Porsche to find out more about the car.

Hi Jeff,

I am from Maryland and I took my Black 944 to Ralphs when I needed the center rubber clutch replaced on my Black 944 back in the early 90's. I am the original owner on that car. I bought my Red 944 from a co-worker a little over a year ago.

Welcome to Rennlist

Your welcome. I just sold my 85.5. i had it for seven years and got to know it real well and enjoyed it thoroughly. You really owe it to yourself to get it on a racetrack to see just how capable these little cars can be.
