Post Anyone want to go to the Vintage Races at Road America

The races will be on JUly 17th and 18th, I will be attending both days, probably going to camp at the track. You can also drive your car on the track either day for $50.00. Check the website out for Road America at www.roadamerica.com

Correction the races are from July 16-18th, and I will be going on the 17th and 18th. On the website it is called the Brian Redmann Challenge.

I will be up there with my dado, and some others perhaps on the 18th. It is always a grrreat time! I hope to see Bobby Rahal and his 917K make a few more laps this year...last year he had some electrical probs. I have always wanted to do the touring, but last year they had so many cars out there people were having to stop on the course! Does not help though some people have no idea how to follow, or even know what a racing line is! It was kinda funny in a pathetic way how some people were using their turn signals when cornering on the track. Hope they limit the amount of cars this time.

Can't beat it for $35.00!

Update my dad, friends and I will be there on the 21st for the race, not the 18th.

Have fun!

I'll be up there on that Sunday, although I won't be bringing the 944. Look for me in the passenger seat of a red Countach during the touring

Well whenever the Sunday races are I will be there...RA website seems to have their dates mixed up as well between their Acrobat Reader scehedule and their downloadable brochure. The touring is $75...but I think it is $50 for the RA 500.

FormulaOne10, that would be sweet to tour in a Lamborghini! I have contemplated renting a 996 or something to tour in, and drive as much as I could. However I would probably only do that if I was in the Eiffel mountains blasting around the Nurberghring.
