Default Thermo Fan Switch Temp Markings

I just got a replacement at Carquest (don't ask) that is marked "95-85/102-92" I assume that is a standard temp switch that turns on at 92 and 102, but what do the 95-85 markings mean? My guess is that the switch comes on at 92 and stays on until the temp comes down to 85; and comes on at 102 and stays on till the temp comes down to 95 -- but that's just a guess. Anyone know for sure?
