Post Paint crack question

I noticed my car has a few cracks in the paint and was wondering how I can fix them.

In some spots of the car, the is a 1-2 inch line crack...it's about the size of a hair, and I believe is caused by heavily applied paint or sun causing it to crack.

In any case, does anyone know how to fix this? I have matching touch up paint in a can.

Thanks,
Mike

What color is the car? My guess is the only true way to correct is to sand down and begin again. This would be easier if it's a single stage paint rather than clear coated. Either way it's going to take some work.

I would say too many layers of paint or fill primer underneath. Or could possibly be bondo put on too thick or mixed improperly before it was applied to the car prior to the paint application. Either way the stuff would have to be sanded off and start all over.

It sounds like what we call "checking" or crows feet, both mean the same thing- total resurfacing. Paint has reached the point of breaking down.Sorry <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
