Default Heat always on

My heat always comes out of my vents full blast. Is this a common problem and would anyone know an easy way to fix this? Thanks!

This is one of the easiest cheapest fixes on a late 944. There is a small plastic clip on the drivers side console that breaks allowing the air doors to default to heat. It prevents the airbox doors from working. Do a search, I couldn't find it on Clarks Garage. A Ty-Rap works to hold the door closed until you can get the correct part.

One more possibility albeit more expensive; could be your controller. My clip was perfect but the controller not. Kept the heat on full blast.
