Post Fixing glovebox latch

My glovebox latch broke. I took it out and little pieces of the latch fell out. I tried to fix it but nothing has worked yet. Can I just buy a new lock? How would I make my key work with a new lock? Anyone ever had this problem before? Thanks

Bryan --

Which latch? The arms at the bottom, or the latch at the top?

both can be had at any dealer, or most aftermarket places too.

You can get the lock re-keyed to use your current keys, or just swap the key cylinders.

Thanks for the help. I guess I'll just go to the dealership.
