Post Will these wheels fit my 951?

Ebay

I'd love to get these wheels for my '87 951. I don't know how good of a deal this is, but it seems reasonable. And, will they fit?

Any comments? TIA...

Fronts look good but the rears will most probably rub. You'd need at least 55mm ET or so, preferably even more - those wheels only have 47mm

Wrong Sami, Wrong These wheels work perfectly. Factory CUP wheels have ET47, in 9x17 rear wheels. There is lots of room on both sides with these wheels and 255/40 tires. Those wheels are 9.5x18 but they should work just as fine.

The rears will be much closer to the fender's edge than stock. That 18x9.5" ET-47mm wheel will puts an extra 0.5" on the inside and 1.0" on the outside compared to a stock 951 16x8" rear wheel.

The biggest tire that you can use here is a 255/35-18 without rubbing. You can't use the wider 996 sizes of 285 or 295mm.

When going to wider wheels than stock, it's best to increase the offset over stock. Similar to how Porsche did it in going from the Turbo (52.3mm offset) to the TurboS (65mm-F/60mm-R). This will place most of the extra width on the inside where there's more room

I had with 9" wheels with ET44 on my S2. Had 255's on it without a problem and my car was as low as they can be.
