NOPE! Black phone dials look like those Nascar plain metal rims! Ick! The Dials were meant to be silver. If you like black, I say trade them for some Cookie Cutters, or Fuchs.

i personally like the black rims. although after hearing everyone's comments i won't be painting MY wheels black.

you guys have seen the black autothority 993TT with the black Fikse wheels and red brake rotors? that looks really good!

The same would go for some black Fikse's and Big Reds on a 924/944/968... That would be my ideal setup once I'm out of University and able to afford 'em.

Once thought about painting the PD's black, but thought twice and left them alone. I'm starting to think that polishing.... nah!

With some creative use of pastel colours, your car could look like a LeMans Edition 924S!

Phone dials just painted black, without the silver lip, look too much like cheap steel rims. Those ones WITH the silver lips, however, are fantastic!

I don't think these are offered stock, they were refinished.

Anyone know how much getting a cheap set of phonedials, then refinishing them to look like that would cost? I could use some replacements for my cookie cutters this spring/ summer.

I was saving them for winter tires (if I ever had to put her on the road then, I hope not). I might be willing to trade for your cookie cutters if they'll swap. I'm about an hour or so from you.
