Default Xpost: Anyone have a good 955/951/968 climate control module to sell?

My snowflake button broke, so I bought a new button and went to install it, but the whole module is in pretty rough shape (lots of brittle, cracked plastic and missing tabs) so I figured I'd rather just replace the whole thing if I can find a good one. Let me know what you have and how much you want for it shipped to 45102. Thanks!

Is the 968 module identical to the late 944/951?

EDIT: I think I need an '86 module based on post #3 below.

How much are you looking to spend? I think I have a brand new one.

I'm not sure when they went to the smaller and more integrated electronics on the module but the 968 one is the same as the later 944. The earlier 85.5 and at least 86 (I think) work the same and look the same from the front but are a lot bulkier inside. I guess 1987-1988 time frame it got smaller inside.

At some point (91 or 92?) the put a detent pot in for the temperature control also.

Really? Wow, I didn't know there was any difference. I guess I should clarify that I need an '86 module then.

Now, how do I change the thread title? Never been able to do that.

I think the later ones are functionally identical to the 85.5+ but the circuitry is more compact and probably more robust. The plastic is probably going to be in better shape too. I would get as new a module as you can.
