Alternator Replacement Guide (Or Brush Replacement)
Here is my first ever online guide, I hope to do one for the waterpump/balance/cam belts. Let me know if something sounds wrong or if you think something should be added.

Seems to work OK for me AL.
I have a couple additions, Nick, since I get mentioned in there. I'm pretty busy between now and the 4th so remind be about the full list in July.
Better mention me by name de plume or no one will have a clue who to contact on Rennlist to get a regulator for cheap. They will be spending $50 and on up for a part that is less than $20. You should probably put in some words on the forward lower machine screw that holds the airbox to MAF as a culprit for coming loose and grenading the tubro & to use Loctite on it. I know you didn't get the full headlight kit instructions that mentions this, nor does one need to remove the MAF from airbox to do this project. But people do, and a few turbos have blown up that I am aware of. Not from my headlight kit install, Thank God, but from general work. It is about impossible to get a normal wrench or socket on that bolt to tighten it. You need a U-joint next to the socket.

It is so nice to have small sized tools for these cars.
Thanks for the loctite advise, I used 222
