Throw out bearing help needed ASAP

I am trying to put the motor into my 944NA and I need some help on how the TO bearing goes in as I didn't pull it. I have a bearing 3 shims a spring and holder and clip, what is the assembly order?? I looked in PET and Haynes and they were no help

had same prob couple of months ago, it seems to me shim quantity is probably a situation where you have to try for feel, i found with two shims bearing felt a bit sloppy but you have to remember that the bearing is located by sleeve in bellhousing, i just managed to get three in but this probably varies from case to case, just use common sense, hope this helps steve elliott

I put 2 shims on the side of the throwout bearing. Are they different thicknesses? Mine seemed to be a little different.
You want it to be snug, but not too tight so that it doesn't turn freely. That clip is a doozy to get back out, as it has no holes like a C clip. Try to get it right the first time. I can post a pic tomorrow if you need it.
