so its definitely still losing coolant.yes? You have to top it up after a run ?
If you have a small leak between a cylinder and the coolant system it might be pressurizing the system at high revs and ejecting coolant whilst in transit.
If you think you have sealed all leaks the excess pressure can only be relieving via the filler cap.
I suggest you fix a container to the bottom of the overflow hose and go for a decent run then check the container.
I think you will find it will contain your missing coolant.

A coolant pressure test is pressurization (@5 psi, NO MORE) of the coolant reservoir to force coolant OUT of wherever it is leaking from. .
^^^^^FYI John this will accomplish noting the car runs at 16-21psi in coolant system you have to archive at least that to find the leak pressurization of 5 psi will do nothing

If you find your coolant there, we'll be telling you it's time for a cylinder leak down test next to confirm the head gasket.
I'm not sure what the froth in the oil means in regards to your losing coolant situation. Unless you're getting coolant in your oil, I don't see how bad oil cooler seals or a head gasket leak between a coolant and oil passage. Maybe someone else has an idea on this one, or maybe its just not related.

I've gotten a bit of wetness lately on the overflow, but no wetness below the tube and when I've had a bottle attached it's always been empty. Going to try and schedule a leakdown test this week. I'm almost certain the coolant isn't ending up in the oil as I put the oil I removed last week in a clear storage bin and there wasn't a hint of separation.

Got a leakdown test scheduled for Wednesday morning. Either way it's going to lead to more work and cost, either to find the external leak somewhere else or pull apart the engine =/

5 years old with less then 10,000 miles on it I believe. I'm fairly certain it was replaced at the same time as the belts and tensioner. I'm at work at the moment so I don't have my maintenance records handy.

Lots of people freak out over rebuilds. While I understand it to a point, you are missing a LOT of coolant from what you are telling us. You would see this leaking. And again, short of HG failure that is pressurizing the cooling side of the motor, the highest coolant pressure is sitting in your driveway, when you turn it off after its been a full temp. You should see **** in your driveway if you're leaking from places like this as much as you're leaking.

Another update in case anyone cares. Shop found and fixed another small leak, put florescent dye in the coolant but couldn't find it anywhere. Passed coolant pressure and leakdown tests, no evidence of coolant going anywhere it shouldn't.

And the saga continues. Lost coolant again this weekend. Brought it back in and when they removed the oil filter and pressurized the coolant system they found green oil below the filter and bubbles coming up every so often. Guess one of those two little gaskets for the oil cooler passage inside the oil housing is leaking...

Not sure why, but I didn't think to check it over the weekend. When I brought in in today the tech said the oil was a bit overfilled. They're waiting overnight for any coolant to separate from the oil.
My concern now is why does the leak keep moving? Is the whole system weak, or is being over-pressurized? What's to say the leak won't move somewhere else after the oil housing o-rings and gasket are replaced?

Shop couldn't find any coolant separating in the oil today. Running out of ideas at this point, probably going to bring it to a local shop that races 944s. If they can't figure it out I don't know who can...
