Default 951 Tire Recommendations

I'm currently driving on a set of Toyo RA-1's that my PO put on. The front's are about done and the backs probably have another 5k or so on them. I'm about to send my Fikse rims in to a local place to fix a few dents and get a good polishing and while they are in there I'd just as soon have them put some new tires on there.

Fronts are: 235/40 ZR17
Rears are: 255/40 ZR17

I'm looking for more of a touring type tire that rides a little better, is a little quieter and handles bumps and such a little better than the Toyo's that don't handle those well and have left me with a couple pretty serious rim dents. I don't track, live in a warm climate and really never drive the car when it rains. I don't really have a brand preference...just looking for something that is a good mix of performance and comfort.

Any suggestions?

I did a little homework and leaning heavily towards Michelin PS2's - same sizes.

Anyone running these on their 951?

The RA1 is a track tyre. I heard that the Goodyear Eagle makes a nice road tyre?

What I have heared, P-boys @ Finland use most Michelin PS2. Hardcore guys use PS Cup's or Toyo R888 (semislicks) ...

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec has excellent ratings, but may be more performance than you want.

I have had a lot of success with my Sumitomo HTR ZIII, for a budget tire. I also liked the General UHP Exclaim from a ride quality perspective (also good value).

That being said Michelin PS2 are in a different category and you pay for it.
