Default A/C fan speed decrease after 1 hr of continuous driving

If I drive my S2 for about an hour continuously with A/C on, I would start to get less and less air out of the vent. It happens on all 4 speed of the fan. I would still get more air if I turn the **** to the higher speed, but the blower motor seems to produce less air compared to when I first start the car. But it would be all normal again the next morning.

Does this sound like something wrong with the blower motor? The series resistor on the blower was repaired a couple of months ago because not all 4 speed of the fan work at the time. Now, all 4 speed operate normally.

Thanks for any input in advance.

I have a similar problem in my car. However, I believe it is the flaps, which direct air through the hvac system, that are losing their position. The fan remains in its set speed, but the air isn't being expelled with the same intensity.

Thanks for the input. Please help me understand why would it only happen after longer period of driving? how does this relate to the flaps after longer period of driving? Many thanks!

You could be icing up the coils. Try turning off the AC for a bit and see if it gets better.

You mean turing the A/C off and let the fan run? or turning the fan off as well?
