I'm trying to get to the passenger bracket which holds the pass. side console piece tight, it's loose, creaking me crazy. I've removed the top 2 screws above the clock and oil press. guage and the two screws below ventilation, I've also removed the fan *****. the upper part of the center console is loose but something is holding it and I can't get behind it. Immediate help is appreciated.

You have to remove the AC ****, then the threaded collar behind it, if you don't you could break the capillary tube.
