Well,
Lets not just talk tools...Lets see them
My tool space in the Garage and the tools I take (black socket box and small box on top of the rolling one). - Organization is Key - Plus I hate to have the tools rattling around when driving. The bigger box has tools I rarely need at the track.
My husky sockets
Top Drawer Full of various tools
Husky Wreches both metric (left) and standard (Right)
Hazet Offset Metric (left) and metric open end (right)
Screw driver Drawer - Mostly Snap on and other bits
Bottom Drawer full of various things - include flywheel lock, balacne shaft tool and giant craftsman channel locks that makes brake pad changes easier.

Three Wheelin'
Oh now look what you've done Joe. Here's a small sample. 6 toolboxes full and I still can't stop buying tools. The missing ones are under the car. Now if I could just finish the shop they live in..

organization is the key. The large roll-cab type boxes are way over rated. I still use the old school "stack". I have a real old Matco top/bottom and also a similar snap-on set. My home/track box is a 4 drawer craftsman. I have seen so many techs with the big condominium roll cabs and nothing in them. Plus, I don't need a roll back to move my tools. They go on my truck real easy. Using the space available in an efficient manner(like the pics at the top of this page) is real important. First you know where to look for a tool when you need it, second you know-with a quick glance-if something is missing. In addition, I like the bright colored screwdrivers and stuff so you can see them when you grab everything up when you are done with a repair. I have found thousands of dollars worth of black-handled screwdrivers under the hood of customers cars. That includes dark factory hand tools in various places on brand new Benz/Porsche cars that I have PDI'ed.
