Friends car died Need 86 DME controller

DOes any one have a DME controller out of an 86 944 N/A they can point me to????

I have one from an 85.5 I don't know if they are the same. 944.618.121.02 is the # on the DME

What is up with the break lines?

I do not know if this will work? Can any one out there conferm 100% that this will or will not work?

DME from 85.5 up to 88 should work fine. 89 won't b/c of the 2.7L engine.

100% - 85.5 and 86 have same DME.

Assuming by "DME Controller" you are referring to the actual ECU (Engine Control Unit) located in the right footwell?

TAZ what would you pat with that DME for. ? and do you know if it is working for sure?
