Ditto. Houston streets are know to demolish wheels and suspension parts faster than a minimum wage tire boy at a Citgo station!

I bought the '83 when I was 16 - 5 yrs ago. I have put over 100k on her as my daily driver.

I bought the '85.5 a year ago (as of 2 July) and have put a little over 1k on her since then

Since August '85. Daily driver. Odometer shows 96000, but it broke about '95, so I really don't know.

Sorry for the late reply...visiting family in FL

I've had my 85.5 for 7 years and put about 110K miles on her. She was my daily driver for about 5.5 years. I now have an Explorer that I drive during winters having moved from FL to IL a couple of years ago.

I gotta tell ya; my P-car has only stranded me twice - both times it was the transaxle. Next to a Honda Civic I owned in 1982, this has been my most dependable car. I hear all the horror stories of P-cars breaking down and wonder if I was just lucky when I got mine. Of course it may be that I don't hotrod it everywhere I go

Had the 79 924 for 3 years, put about 50k on it.

had the 85.5 NA for about 3 years, put about 30k on it.

Had the 951 since 8/00, put almost 10k on it, but I dont drive it much. purely for fun, not for work. I would rather put 200 twisty miles on in a weekend, than 500 crappy stop and go miles during the week.

My next Porsche is going to be a Boxter S. havent started looking yet, maybe for Christmas. I would like the prices to drop a bit more first. ( I hope.)

Since I have made money on every car I have owned, I dont want to break my streak.

Bought 12-98, 88.9k
now 99.6k
Daily driver, I just don't drive much most days. On the weekends we end up using her car for most things, the 944 isn't the best thing for the whole family or for Home Depot trips.
