944 headlamp bracket.....
the bracket that rotates/tilts down towards the frame rail when the lights open, and is there to provide a "stop" for the light when it opens....any other function for this?
Has anyone cut it away for air intake modification?

I had to cut my drivers side bracket off. The light works fine without it.
