God help me, I love those brown dashes on the late cars You have a really different color combination there, Steve - I was completely expecting to see a black interior.

Very nice!

Micah

*EDIT* Holy smokes - just noticed the full leather sport seats! <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />

yay! same color combo (int.) as my 84... however, i like it more with a grey or white ext. than the guards red. i once saw an 84 944 in daytona that was guards on brown/tan... it nearly made me puke!... its not so bad with the black steering wheel and guages and everything.

awesome car!

Very nice! Your interior is unique with the deviating tan carpet and seats.

My car has the same brown interior and 968 CS steering wheel, but with brown carpet. I will post photos later this week once my seats have been recovered (with beige Porsche script cloth!).

You know what would top it all off, Steve? A Saratoga top! (after suspension <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )

BTW, I've been thinking I want to get a pair of those door latch damping nubs you pointed out. Do you know the part number or where to get them?

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

I once looked at an '86 930, Guards Red with a blue dashboard and tan leather interior. It was another interesting combination.

Too many other things like braided fuel lines with screw on fittings, suspension, lsd, roll bar, racing shells, 6 point belts, big wide rubber/wheels, etc.

I suppose you could find a used one in decent condition from Parts Heaven. Watch out though, instead of selling you the nub, they may want to sell the entire door!

Something about a stock '86 really peaks my intrest. Gorgeous condition! I think these are the 1st pics of your car I have seen.

The dash looks great! I love the color combo you have going. Just a suggestion on the Bisquit seats. My father picked up some sports in the same color, but has the lighter carpet like you. For $150, he had them dyed to perfectly match the carpet, and the interior is stunning!
(BTW, this was in his '83 911 SC Cab with the black dash and doors.)

I think that same idea would look very very impressive in your car.
