Post Steering Column Switches

Guys - Would appreciate some help. I've got a 87 turbo and am in the process of replacing the steering column switch cluster. I can get to the switches ok, but can't see an easy way to get at the nut holding the compression fitting without removing some trim. Any easy way to do this?

Thanks
John

I had to take a few pieces of trim off, then use an extension on my 1/4 inch ratchet to get in there. Doesn't take long though. Hope you centered your steering wheel before you took it off. I think it's a machine screw, not a nut.

Welcome aboard.
