Default WTB 944 head

I bought a core to build for my 951 but it was no good.

I need a dressed head for an NA 944 with no corrosion in the coolant passages. I will not be using the valves so if they are bent that is fine. It would also be good if it had not been decked.

oh wow, if I can find a good used head, you can have mine with potentially bent valves? or if you find a good one but don't want to take it apart, let me know and maybe we can trade or something?

I need one for an early 2.5L N/A

Sounds like a deal! I just need the head and some of the valve hardware.

looks like a few people over on Pelican have 2.5L N/A heads

I got a couple offers for $100 - 150 shipped

the only thing is, how do I check the cylinder head I'm getting to make sure its not messed up?

how fast do you need one yourself? going to send you a PM in a second ...

Have a machine shop die penetrate the head... any cracks should show, and any machine shop should be able to do this reasonably $$ wise...

That gets you most of the way there. Still not 100%. I had one that dyed well, but had a crack below the surface that became VERY apparent once it got decked.
