Michelle - You aren't the only gal on the board, there's me, and another lady that races her 944 from Pasadena, CA!
I find this all rather amusing, person getting all hot and bothered over a bumper sticker. I think my fave is still this one, "When God created man, She was only joking!"
The majority of the gentlemen on this board have been nonjudgemental, and since they can poke fun at themselves, they are kewl in my book!

It really pisses me off to to think a woman driving a porsche is somebody's kept pet. Enthusiasm is just that. enthusiasm. If I spot a rennlist sticker in a window I see a friend- regardless of sex. Grow up ********.

I was referred to Rennlist, since I am planning on going back into acquiring a 944 again, and desire more information than I had before, when I bought one.
And I concur with you, enthusiasm is enthusiasm! I think alot of the prejudism stems from jealousy. I myself have helped to change timing belts on Celicas, replaced an engine in a Tercel, and even helped to overhaul an engine. I started helping my dad since I was 9, and have loved cars ever since.
Guess who all my male friends bring along, to make sure they get a good deal on a car? Yep, moi.
I look forward to "talking" to you all again!

Some guys just aren't secure in being a guy. When an intellegent woman comes along and effectively challenges these guys abilities then they start getting defensive due to their shallow ego and low self-esteem.
I don't know what area of law you're involved in but I do know if you handle trials you've seen this before.
I think it's cool that you not only exert your abilities but also have attitude to back it up!
Contrary to what he implied - "Translation to that last sentence, you must be rejected by men all the time to have such an attitude" - I'd be honored to be included in your circle of friends. You would definately be a breath of fresh air!
