Lightbulb Can a broken BOV (CBV) cause a vacuum leak?

When the car is warm at idle it only reads 10 inches of vacuum. Can my broken BOV which I am replacing tomorrow with a Forge BOV be causing this leak? I am almost positive the BOV is part of the vacuum lines so I would assume that makes sense.

Yup. If the diaphram is toast, it can pull air from the vaccum port, and also pull past the BOV itself from the J-boot to the intercooler pipe.

Thank you...that is all I needed to sleep well. Did not want to have to think about another possible problem.
