Default ICV Voltage Checks

So from what I've gathered, the ICV on the late 944s are constantly reading a voltage supplied to it by the DME. The connector has 3 pins ( 1-2-3 ) and I've read that the middle pin (#2) is powered at all times, and the ground changes from pin +1 at cold to pin +3 at warm. Is this correct? And how would I go about testing this with the connector attached to the ICV? The ICV is not sticking, but it might not be getting the correct readings from the DME, which is why I ask.

Thanks!

I'm not sure on the electrical behavior, but I just looked at the wiring from my ICV, and it appear that it would be easy enough to pull the connector, get it outside of the intake, strip the outer casing off of the bundle, re-attach, and then use a pin probe to read voltages. Its fairly accessible.

Say the car is on and you jump the connectors in the diagnostic port. What should happen?
