I used this today: URL=http://www.jasc.com/products/psp/]Paint shop pro[/URL]
I'm evaluating it.

My memory is going. I compressed the pics to 80k, but I forgot that the limit here is 180k.

"one more thing" just do it on copies only. Once shrunk there is no going back.

*notice- no ps resovior, windsheild washer resovior, and soon to be no headlights. I will be purchasing my Moriss engineered suspension soon and I'll probably lose the headlights (plus some weight else-where)

I'm gonna tune @ 17psi and have some fun on the track this summer

I really think I am gonna be spending a bit on a anodizing system. I want to anodize so many parts, I will probably find it cheaper to buy the materials/equipment and do it myself.

Your manifold looks great, by the way.

After a bit of searching, i found a cool site for plating hobbyists.

<a href="http://www.hobbyplating.com/" target="_blank">http://www.hobbyplating.com/</a>

[q]Decorative Anodizing Kit with Aluminum Soak, Etch, Desmut Lite, Anodizing Solution, Ano-Add, Room Temperature Sealer, Anodizing Stripper, 1000 Series Aluminum Anodizing Cathodes, Four Tanks, One Heater, Four Tank Lids, and Comprehensive 'Anodizing Illustrated' Book: All kits come with RECTANGLAR tanks except for 5 gallon kits. 2.3 gallon kit $189.00 Comes w/ 2 gallons of solution makeup. Tank size - 9.5"x 9.5"x 7.5"

4.5 gallon kit $265.00 Comes w/ 4 gallons of solution makeup. Tank - 9.5"x 9.5" x 14.5"

6 gallon kit $299.00 Comes w/ 5 gallons of solution makeup. Tank - 11.25"x 18" deep

10 Gallon Kit: $439.00 comes with 4 (rectangular 15.5"x12.5"x12.5") tanks and 8 gallon make of each solution. Do motorcycles parts as large as primary covers, car intakes & valve covers, anodize all the parts of a paintball gun at once. See below for deluxe kit features.
[/q]

$189 for a complete starter set isnt bad at all, and I could think of thousands of uses for this stuff. They sell a hard anodizing solution, which supposedly makes the surface harder than steel and almost as hard as titanium, and also a telfon coat that bonds to the anodizing!

Drool.

Lots of neat info on this page as well.

again, dunno if anyone is interested, but here are instructions for cheap "ghetto anodizing".

here is a slightly less ghetto version.

probably, but everybody advises against it (it might be a full time race car by then. I'm in the process of specing out my Moriss engineered suspension )
