Default Help with new seat install

My late '85 944's driver seat was torn, and I just replaced it with a driver seat from my old '88 944 turbo S. The turbo seat had a motor for moving forward and back, and the NA seat had a bracket with sliders. Anyways, I was able to do a little heart transplant so the turbo seat is installed in the car using the sliding bracket from the NA seat. But the seat is reclined all the way and I'm not sure how to set it to recline only part of the way back. It makes for very uncomfortable driving. How do I fix this?

i think it would have been easier to run a power line to the seat and use it with a motor. did you idsconnect the bracket on the right that sets the recline?

So there's a bracket underneath the seat that sets the recline? I removed two brackets, one on each side. I thought those two brackets were only connected to the motors that raise the front and rear of the seat. I'd have to take another look at the seat or the pics I took of the bottom of each seat before I really did anything.
