Post PCNA finally recognizes PCA members with $100 gift cert!

Wow! I just got a letter today from PCNA, including a couple of special deals for PCA members only. I guess they finally are recognizing the valuable resource the PCA'ers are. I got a coupon for $100 off a $200+ purchase on Porsche Genuine Parts, plus a cert good for $500 off a Boxter and $1K off a Boxter S! Well, since Skip at Paragon does such a great job, I haven't had to go to PCNA for parts for quite a while. BUT, next time I need a (overpriced) $200 part, it is good to know PCNA will take the bite for 1/2 of it because I am one of the folks supporting the marque in the PCA. The downside, I'd be ticked if I just bought a boxster S and THEN got a coupon, it isn't retroactive!

It was a nice surprise from the PCNA!

PS..6 days till 944fest02

Thumbs up

Yes, that was nice. I received mine this past Saturday... my wife laughed when I showed her the 500/1000 discount certificate...

She said something like "nice try but I don't think so!!"

Anyhow, the 100.00 come in at a right time since I still need a few items for the 951...

Did you guys also get the raffle offer for the Boxster "S" from PCA/American Cancer Society? I figured $100.00 for a 1/1000 shot at an S was worth it. Hopefully in August I will be able to start posting on the Boxster board too. <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

I just got the thing for the boxster raffle too...

$100 x 1,000 = $100,000 - $54,000 for the car = $46,000 profit...

Hope that most of that profit really does go to the cancer fund.

I'm thinking about doing it

As far as the $200...
I think I'm gonna buy a rear under tray and this 1 piece of carpet in the car I'd like to replace...should bring me up near $200. If that doesn't do it, I'll get something silly like a key ring or poster or something.

For $42 I get this...not bad at all!!

sucks that I failed to renew this year after 3 years of membership...

Wonder if I'd get one if I renewed this month?
