Since replacing the seal on my sunroof (not the body) a couple of weeks ago, I have noticed that it doesn't seem to "seat" correctly. It doesn't leak anymore, but looks wrong. The gasket/seal has rubber on one side and felt/fuzzy stuff on the other with a metal piece running inside. It seems to only fit on one way,,,,but,, did I do it right. I have it with the felt/fuzzy stuff facing the outside. Or is it just normal and takes a while to "wear in" to the mate in the car body?

When I put on my new sunroof seal, my sunroof did not close all of the way as before either, but as time went on the new seal wore in and the sunroof closed all of the way again!

And yes the fuzzy is on the outside, becareful when waxing your car though, you don't want to get wax on this fuzzy material, it will turn white otherwise.
