Can anyone in the NYC area suggest a place for me to pick up some new Zimmerman rotors for my car? I'm after the cross-drilled ones for an '88 951 (non-M030). I'll be driving down in May from Canada, so this is a good opportunity for me to stock up on heavy stuff I wouldn't want to ship.

What has your experience been in the NYC area? Also, how about a good supplier of used parts?

I live in NYC and have never bought anything for the car locally. You can always order stuff from the usual dealers and have it sent to your hotel. I send stuff to my hotel all the time when I travel for work.

I got my front zimmermans from a lister (NIB) and the rears my mechanic ordered...I think from Paragon.

No one local is going to stock parts like that. You could order then through a dealer and have them hold the parts for you.

While George rarely has the best prices, he's very nice and has got a tremendous knowledge of our cars...I've spoken to him once or twice and read a bunch of his stuff on pelcan and in Panorama.
