Pelican wheel bearing tool question

Pelican wheel bearing tool question
I am in the process of ordering the wheel bearing tool from Pelican, following the procedure listed on Paragon's Tech Session.
The Pelican web site lists the "kit" as part number B90-P2. The tech write up says a that I also need parts B90-3 (bracket) and B90-3J (hourseshoe). It looks like these are included in the Pelican kit, can anyone confirm that Pelicans "kit" ships complete? I called Pelican, but they couldn't give me a convincing answer.

Scott,
You could always just order the kit from the company that makes the tool.

I can't remember if it is any cheaper than Pelican but they do ship quickly. If you have any questions about the procedure drop me an email...I wrote it. BTW I think I transposed the disc numbers in the procedure. Meaning that disc #12 should be used in some instances when I wrote disc #14. In any event, it will become obvious to you which disc to use when during the removal/installation.
Best Regards, Max

As a follow up to my original post here, I spoke with Tom at Pelican, and he assured me that the picture that they have on their web site of the bearing removal/install kit, #B90-P2, including the bracket, #B90-3 and horseshoe #B90-3J is what they are selling as a kit for $154.00. This is substantially cheaper than what SIR Tool sells it for directly.

Scott,
I hope that is correct but I really doubt it. I remember asking them about that way back when I bought my tool from Samstag tools rather than Pelican. Pelican was claiming the same thing then but I finally go it out of them that the bracket and horse shoe were not included. They didn't have a photo of the assembly back then.
If they are really selling all of that for $154.00 then I say buy that sucker quick. But I am betting that B90-P2 does not include the bracket and horse shoe. That would certainly account for the cost difference between the 3 kits. There is no other reason for a price difference between the kits. Additionally, it just so happens that the price difference between the kits of ~$75 is the approximate cost of the bracket and horse shoe when bought separately.
B 90-3J Horseshoe Adaptor - (Large) $24.80
B 90-3 Bracket $54.80 (compliments of Samstag tools website)
$154.23 + $24.80 + $54.80 = $233.83
The ONLY thing the bracket and horse shoe are used for is the removal of the hub. This can be accomplished by using a large brass drift and dead blow hammer or a large slide hammer. That is a way to save some money.
If you do order from Pelican please let the BBS know if their kit did in fact include all of the parts I have discussed.

Max

Well, I was highly suspect of it myself, but after talking with Tom at Pelican, I am pretty well convinced that its included. Tom talked specifically about the horseshoe and bracket and that the kit would be incomplete without them. He said that they do enough business with SIR that they can offer the whole thing at that price.
I have heard enough people say good things about Pelican that I went ahead and ordered it. Once I have it in hand (should be the first of next week), I will post to the board what I have received.
