Default Broken AC compressor mounts AND alternater bearing fail

So. My main bearing fails in my alt. So I took it apart, and bought a new bearing, and replaced it. Well, I go to reinstall it, and both mounting bolts on the compressor are gone and one of the mounts, on the compressor side, is completely missing. So here is my question. If a 944 back in the day was ordered without AC, did Porsche just use a shorter belt, and go straight from the engine to the alt, or was there a special mounted pulley that was just there to complete the circut as if an AC unit was there.

I don't understand -- so how did the compressor stay on before you did the alt? Or did you lose the bolts and the mount while it was removed?

Porsche used a shorter belt and different mount just for the alternator. You can get the mounting bracket from Paragon.

I had just got on the highway, and there was a clunk, and then there was rattling. Im assuming thats when the mounts gave out.
