Post Tips of Stiffening 944 NA rearend

What would be the best way to improve the rigidity of my 944 rearend?

After taking my car down to the strip I ran into a problem with my rear axle on the ground. My wheels will practically bounce down the first 30 ft of track trying to get traction. My rear KONIs are shot and will be replaced but I'd think that my tortion bars would play a bigger role in keeping the rear on the ground.

What would some of my options be?

You could always get helper springs in the rear. These would be coilovers and replace the rear shock as well. That would kill two birds with one stone, new shocks and a stiffer rear end.

Check these out: <a href="http://www.klaindustries.net/rearcoil/rearcoil.htm" target="_blank">http://www.klaindustries.net/rearcoil/rearcoil.htm</a>

Those just may be the ticket. It may not even matter that much but I'm wondering what type of shocks they are using?

Thanks Ken

This thread is about the Coil-Overs and gives some good info.

This one talks more about the shocks:
