I thought a 89 turbo with 69K Miles for $10,500 was to good.
It turns out the car was in an accident (thanks Gundo for CarFax).
The owner said he knew of no accidents.
Also I noticed the hood looked like it had to big of a gap at the front in the photos.
The VIN is WPOAA2952KN150158
The car is in Dallas TX
Does Rennlist have a spot to keep VIN’s on bad cars? I belong to a Acura NSX list and they keep a running list of be cars.

Well we don't have a list, but a website with all the bad VIN's would be a good idea, might be a bit teadeous to set up considering how many of these cars do come back with out a clean car fax, but a good idea.

so that was the one, huh? thought so. i guess we all have to understand that when the time is right, there will always be a car out there, available and at the price we want.
a dent in the fender ain't nuthin for us here on renn's.
anyhow, i shouldn't even care because i don't have any cash anyway, but it makes for good practice.

Happy to help with the Carfax!
I always kind of hold my breath when running those things....you just never know what is gonna come out.
Depending on the damage, you may be able to use bad Carfax as a negotiating tactic.
Any answer about the ODO discrepancy?

I have not questioned the guy about the od discrepancy.
He told me he got the car in 7/1998.
He said the car has 69K.
Then he said the previous owner had replace the timing belt at 64K.
I thought, if the car had belt replaced by previous owner at 64K. At the least the car had that on the OD when the current owner bought it. I thought only 5K in almost 4 years?
It did not sound correct.
Hell I sold my NSX because I never drove it and I did more milage than that in a year.
