If it sounds like it is limping, check for spark and injector operation at each cylinder. Reasonably fast to do, and seems kinda obvious.

(Of course, its so obvious that you probably did it already.)

Sounds like you have double-checked everything, but I take a look at the fuel injector connections. Also, was there a vac hose connected to the bottom side of the manifold, and did you reconnect it when you reinstalled the m'fold? Could it have come off?

OK fresh day, its been over 36 hours since i looked at the car, time for a new start on getting this solved... things to look at:

1. double double check ALL vac connections
2. double double check injector connections
3. double double check ALL air hoses

the isv went in just as the other did, airflow pointed towards the intake manifold, so i know thats on right. thanks for the ideas, i know we're all stretchin it now!!! i hate guessing games with car repairs... i'll be in soon to let you all know how it went.

thanks!

ok when i said double check ALL vac connections, i guess i omitted the one that was buried in front on the intake manifold... i realized that this was disconnected after removing the I M again. SOOOOOO back together it will go, i gotta clean out the I M a bit first, there's some oil in there, i dont want it dripping on the new gaskets. thanks all for the support and help!!! i'll let you know if the ISV will disappoint me when i get it all back together.

RENNLIST RULES!!!!
