Can anyone confirm which way the ISC is supposed to be installed? Arrow toward intake or arrow toward throttle body.... 85.5 na...Bruce
PS. Fingers crossed but I think I finally figured out the problem on my NA (no, its not the ISC being backward).

Bruce, on my 951 the arrow points in the direction of the intake manifold connection. From the fuzzy picture i am looking at from my n/a, the arrow points in the same direction. As in the arrow is pointing from the long line that comes from the j-boot.

For anyone searching this thread later, the arrow points (like on most things) in the direction of the flow. In this case, the idle control stabilizer lets air flow from before the throttle body to the intake manifold. This is the car's way of being able to "operate the throttle" at idle when the throttle body is normally closed.
