Default Steering Wheel feels loose

The steering wheel feels like it's not on the column securely. Do I just pull off the horn pad and tighten up the nut? Or is there another area to tighten?

is it the wheel that's loose? or the column?

yea pull the pad off and tighten the nut sure. quick and simple. if it doesn't work, then u'll have to start looking at the steering shaft ujoint or the rack

If you don't have an airbag, then yes - just yank & tighten. You'll need a massive socket (23/24mm?) w/ a long extension (6-12") to tighten it. I'm not familiar with the airbag wheel process, but it's different.

24mm is the nut that holds the wheel.

Airbag process requires disconnecting the battery at least 30 minutes prior to trying to do anything.
