As a helpful hint, front wheels on non-turbo/non S2 calipers can be easily bled without lifting the car by turning the wheels full lock. Speed bleeders are cheap and make the job a lot easier as less air can get back in the system. Bleeder valves either speedbleeder or otherwise are so inexpensive that there really should be little excuse not to change them when they get cheesy.
