Great job!, it's REALLY unusual to do well the first few events. I've been surprised by a 240sx before, they make a good auto-x car.

Stephen,

this Sunday sounds right. Let me know (bchap56@yahoo.com) if you are going to make it so I can make sure to be there. If a few of you come maybe we can make it a "Southern Rennlist" gathering.

I'd love to go, but alas I really need to accomplish something before the movers get here next week... Sounds like fun two Solo2s in one weekend.

Bryan: Get the car fixed. I have some other folks who are going to do the leg work for more events at Columbus AFB.

Dale,

Good to see you as well! Unfortunately after today I don't even believe it's a tranny mount... looks like I'm going to put a new clutch into the 85.5. 105k on the original rubber center one isn't bad...

Bryan, I just got home from the Columbus, MS Autox It's 8:40pm. I woke up at 5:30am and left the house at 7:00am. We had a blast, got 7 runs in. It was a super event. At the fastest portion of the course I was redlining 2nd gear. Expect to see a post about it in the next few days. We would all love to come but at this point 280 more miles just isn't doable. We got a great pick of all the Porsches lined up in semi circle formation. Thanks to Joel Wahlsten for making it happen. I'm so beat, it's time to lay up and sip a whiskey.

Cool

Just in case anyone is interested, here's a photo of the Porsche contingent from the first autocross at Columbus AFB in over 10 years. We all had a great time...
