Ah, damn. Missed the party... but it's my own fault for taking the car in to get the balance shaft belt adjusted this morning. Looking over the car, they found a leak in the fuel rail (thought I smelled something going awry in the engine bay)...this a month after the water pump and battery go! Aaarrgghhh!

Didn't get out of there until 5:30 and I was on the other side of town - with a leaky fuel rail. Didn't think I could get there in time and didn't want to drive the car if I didn't absolutely have to.

Catch everybody at the next get-together.

Well I was planning to head up there, seeing as the whole thing was my idea. Mike came over here in the afternoon and we did some work on his car, which took a little longer tan expected and then he headed out around 5 to go up there. I couldn't make it because my mom had to go to the emergency room. Did anybody actually make it? I say we try it again. Any ideas what day?

well rick...
let me say a few things,
i got there at 6, nobody was there.
i talked to the owner, she said that a few people were there and left at like 5:30.
after i got there, we had five or six more people show up, and we all had dinner. i think it was pretty stupid to go to the place and then not eat there, we all said we were going, and most of those who did made it, so i'm sorry you didnt stick around a little longer for dinner, even if all the pictures i got (i'll post soon)were after dark. c'est la vie

5:00 is too early to meet on a friday, people can't make it due to work or other things. next time lets have it on a saturday.

jason and i loved the old germany place, and we both think we should have it there again.

i'm sorry rick, i should have called at 5 when i was leaving to let the owner know some of us would be late, jason had to work, christian didn't show up until later, but those who did go had a great time.

SO, if you want to go early for pictures, then make it saturday so we dont have to worry about work. if you want to meet on a friday for dinner, its going to have to be later. all in all it was a great time, next time we'll make the reservations that we KNOW we all can get, and if you can't make it till a little later, call the place so they can tell others that you're on your way (that was my mistake, i didnt get done at daves till 5, and i was on the phone almost the whole time, everyone kept calling me for stupid stuff, plus i should have brought the # for the old germany place.)

lets schedule the next one! someone pick a saturday and we'll see if theres anything else going on... so we can weed out a date and everyone can plan ahead. we'll go old germany again, i really think y'all will like it.

lets get plannin!!!
- Mike

Looks like you guys had some fun, sorry to have missed it. Well any weekend in Feb works for me except the 15th-16th weekend as thats DE weekend. Other than that I can probably make it anytime either Friday or Saturday doesn't matter.

I know this is not in the right thread, but i was wondering if anyone has bored out their throttle bodies and if so, what were the gains if any?
