Is an electric sunroof from an 84 compatible with an electric sunroof for late 944's, specifically a 91?

The actual sunroof panels are the same but the lifting mechanisms, gears, and motors are different. Look for an 87+ car if you are after parts for yours. Even the 86 used the older style motor w/ track bar setup.
