Post 11:00 PM EST.. let's race!!

I'm headed to race online NFS-PU. Look for the busiest server and a race with rennlist in the name. I'll be there for till at least 11:30!

Lets rock!

Yo Rich.. Thanks for the lessons! I'm usually happy if I don't finish last, and some "Operator" guy was making my wishes come true. You were smoking!

As for the flying links, yep..I fly. I've just got my private, checked out in C172s and Pa28 200s. I'll be sure to add the instrument in a few. It's just a hobby. For a living, I tell pilots where to go. Yep, I'm a Air Traffic Controller here in Mansfield, Ohio. About 70 miles SW of CLE, and 90 miles S of Windsor. Love the job! Pilots are a great bunch, it's a pleasure to serve them. FWIW< Have you ever heard of the EAA OSH fly in?

Thanks again for the lessons on NFS!

hey, since there are a couple other hobby pilots here, thought this might be a useful link..

<a href="http://www.freebizmag.com/emailplanepilot01Welcome.Html" target="_blank">Free Plane & Pilot subscription</a>

I tried to DL NFS-PU, but couldn't find a working copy. Anyone care to share?

Dan,

Didn't know you were getting your private; congrats! I'm planning on getting a little instrument in here and there now as I'm debating about how much I should spend if the AF is simply going to pay for it in a few months. Once you have your private, it's really hard to just "stop there" no matter how much it costs
I bet you did really well on the "light signals" portion of the written!
Are you going after your instrument? I'm in 172Rs and the occasional S. My next big goal is to get a 177 Cardinal (fell in love with 'em on first sight) here in a few years. They are kind of Cessna's own little 944s

Have a good one!

Micah

BTW, all this talk reminded me - I have to renew my AOPA membership... like rennlist, definitely money well spent.

LOL, i take it Operator needs lessons too?

That's okay, I've been playing PU since before it came out. I'd better be flying at it by now. But good equipment help a lot. I've got a Logitech Wingman formula GP (non-FF) wheel. It's GREAT.

Yeah, I've heard of the fly-in. I've planned on flying into the Airventure a few times, but I can't get the time off in summer from work, and I need the money to pay off the car and upgrades for it. What I REALLY need is a flying job.

What is it with ATC guys and 944s??? Here in Vancouver, Boundary Bay AND Abbotsford both have 944 parked outside the tower every day.
