I searched the archives, but can not seem to find anything on how much people have paid for a PPI. I did read one post that was interesting. If you don't buy the vehicle, try to sell the PPI to the seller to recoup some of the cost,,anybody ever have luck with that? Anybody ever get 2 PPI's, kinda like a second opinion?
Thanks in advance for you experience......

My brother-in-law is always buying cars from dealer's auctions and since a lot of the dealers' cars come from such auctions, he always recommends getting two PPI's. I have always been successfull in just getting one, but I can see where two would be beneficial. I expect the cost for a PPI should be any where from $80 to $200.

Mine have been around $65 at the shop I take my cars to and get potential cars checked out. I think thats for 1hr of labor in looking at the car. My 911 compression check was $65/hr at 3.7hrs I believe. I brought 4-5 951s to them before finding the right one. Money well spent.

Mine were all just over $100.. the car I ended up buying was $130 in PPI and ~$800 off the price (then about $300 back into the car to fix the problems ~ free insurance for the first 6 months!!)
