It'd be the fastest launch you could ever dream of!
Actually, you probably break the car before you broke the dyno or the straps... if the tires even held traction.

Paul

The M-roadster had a 3.2 L, huge supercharger and a ton of money in it. They had it on the dyno previously during break in, it "only" pulled 420 rwhp at 6500 rpm. They have built it to pull to 8000 rpm and will dyno it once it is fully broken in.
The red Viper was stock except for the airbox. Just barely broken in, pulled something like 400 ft-lbs to the rear wheels at 1,700 rpm. He had spent several hundred dollars on the airbox, resulting in the loss of about 5 hp from stock; stupid bolt-on performance parts!
The grey/blue stripe Viper was a 1999 with about 65,000 miles of track time and to/from track road miles. Mainly stock, it was in to have a nitrous kit installed. Apparently even Vipers can use an extra 200 hp when it comes to passing, especially a certain modded 914/6 it seems.
