SidVicous where were you when "I couldn't start my car due to the stereo install" thread?

That was my problem. I had a postive lead hooked to the battery. Rennlist Rules

Viscous Viscous

I was watching that thread, but nothing jumped out at me as to what the problem might be.

nothing yet,

I am going to try the speed and reference sensors next, I was doing a trickle charge on the battery all of today so I didn't really play around with the car.

I don't think it is the factory alarm it all apears to be in order, and if the alarm was not set when the battery died it wouldn't cause any problems right? Or even though it was not set could it do this?

The brain can get a little flipped out when there is no power to it. You can always bypass it and see what happens.

Yeah - bypass it - eliminate that as a variable.

BTW, don't listen to David - I think he is after your ride as well. I'm first!

Ok, I'll give bypassing it a try, where do I find the two wires (I don't want to bypass the wrong ones and create another problem)....

And keith the car is yours....

I looked up the stuff on getting the cars titled, with mine you are just going to go in with the title from out of state and you'll have to pay the tax on the car at the DMV value (very low so lower taxes) and it is similar with me getting your car, we can right but a bill of sale listed as a Trade though to make sure things are documented....
