As the title says, are 944s and regular 944 of the same year fuel filters the same?

I have an 87 944s.

Normally I would just buy from a Porsche supplier site to be sure but I have a $20 gift card given to me by Ebay (that has to be used there) that I really need to use before I forget about it...and I can't think of anything else I need to buy.

Same for the 928 too... or at least a certain set of years. My old filter had a 928 part number on it

lol I didn't even think of trying that.

I bought a fuel filter with it today (and have $1 leftover wohooo) and I needed one so it worked out well.
