Hmmmmm

I'm starting to think maybe I got a good deal on these wheels.

Hey PorscheG96 $50 and a ride in your 968 Turbo. But you are on the opposite coast! Will you pay my airfare? And it's just a ride? I don't get to have my way with your car?

And by the way I had to pay shipping so I have about $235 in them.

They'll fit your '87 fine, I had a set on my '88 944S which uses the same offset..

They do sit quite deep though, so you might want to add 5mm or 10mm spacers... not necessary, but nice.

Thanks for the help! Anyone know where I can get them re-anodized?

They are an anodized finish and they came in two different colors. I had a titanium like finish on my old car and my current sets are both silver.

Wheel enhancement in CA does a great job refinishing, but it ain't cheap. The PO of my car paid $3500 for wheels with tires. So figure around $1400 for the refinishing...

Have you considered polishing them? I understand the desire to be "original" and all, but it gets pretty expensive. I did this to a set and am in the process of powdercoating the insides black and clear powder on the whole wheel. I have one set of 8" (928 GT) rears mounted and without powder and they look orig. but with a little more "bling". I have seen these wheels with the outer face polished and everything else powdercoated black and it does well to make the wheel look bigger than it is.

You STOLE those at $235. I bought a set of 4 faded 8" CS's with almost new Yoko Track tires for $550 shipped and I think that I STOLE them. I also got a set of 2 7" front CS's at a swap for $125. Some sellers think they are "Design 90" wheels and aren't worth much

adrial, I don't believe the CS was offered in 9" widths. Only 7" and 8". The 8" Matt mentioned being 928 GT rears would confirm this.

However, the D90s were offered in 7.5" fronts and 9" rears on the post-'89 951s and M030 equipped 944S2s. These wheels are more rare than the typical 7" & 8" D90s, though.

Stock CS wheels on the 951 were 7.5 Front and 9 rear. I believe 8's were found on a 928.

The polished ones look nice. My car came with them like this.

I'm pretty sure stock CS wheels are 7" front 9" rear.

Yup, the 8's are from a 928.

D90's only come in 7" front and 8" rear far as I know.

I know this because they came stock on my '91 951

MY90&91 951 have 7.5" front and 9" rear D90 rims.

ALL 250hp 951 came out of the factory with 9" rear rims.
